I want to take pictures of snow falling, so I want it to snap fast. I have lots of light, so there is enough light to do this. Thank you!

You can use the Sports Scene Mode for dynamic action shots that freeze the action in a single shot and record motion in a series of pictures.

Everytime I take a picture, it will save, the number of pictures i can take blinks, then it just goes black, lense stays out, and the ring blinks. Nearly like its going to sleep. Is there any way to turn this off?

Answer:

Please reset the camera to default settings: Go to MENU > Setup > Reset All. And verify the settings for Auto Off, see page # 122 of the user's manual for the COOLPIX s620.
